About
Hi, I’m Charlotte.
I’m a southern transplant living in the Hudson Valley of New York State. My first job was helping my parents in their little grocery store in North Carolina. Since then I’ve been a library clerk and a science writer. I’ve lived in Los Angeles and Raleigh, and spent many years in Brooklyn, where I studied web programming at Hunter College in Manhattan.
I built my first website for an artist friend. Since then I’ve had the great pleasure of working with artists, small businesses, and nonprofits. Each case is different: I enjoy analyzing the unique factors, finding the best way to leverage web technologies for the benefit of that individual or company.
When I’m not making websites, I’m mostly making other things. I love sewing with my vintage Singers and am very excited about quilting right now, especially using repurposed fabrics.
As a website designer and coder, I can help you evaluate what you need and make it happen. I use Squarespace in conjunction with software integrations and custom code to build a site that matches your unique brand and works for your business. From beautiful portfolio sites to complex e-commerce and membership sites, I’m your guide to using the web to your advantage.
